POWER GENERATION METHOD OF DIRECT ALCOHOL TYPE FUEL CELL AND FUEL CELL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct alcohol type fuel cell capable of generating power efficiently by an alcohol water solution with comparatively high concentration using a sulfonated polyimide film as a polyelectrolyte film. PSOLUTION: A sulfonated polyimide film having sulfonic acid group with a thickness of 20 m to 150 m is used as a polyelectrolyte film used for a direct alcohol type fuel cell, and alcohol water solution with high concentration of 12 mass% to 60 mass% is supplied to the generation part at a temperature lower than 60C as a fuel alcohol water solution, and direct power generation is performed at 15C to 100C as the temperature of the generation part.
