PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity method for assaying a species-specific avian coccidial protozoan, with which determination of an avian coccidial protozoan contained in a specimen such as excreta, vaccine, etc., is simply carried out without requiring a specific technique. PSOLUTION: A PCR is carried out by using four kinds of forward side primers having a disclosed sequence and four kinds of reverse side primers having a similarly disclosed sequence, and making the gene of an avian coccidial protozoan to be assayed in a test sample as a template and the amount of an amplified fragment is assayed in a real time.
