PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payment terminal or the like, capable of reducing the access frequency to an external device in compensation of electronic money balance.;SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal compensates, when charge balance AV0 of a designated electronic money is insufficient, the charge balance AV0 by transferring a charge balance AVn of another electronic money, and ends processing, if it can be compensated to a transaction amount DV, without access to a financial institution system. Only when the balance cannot be compensated to the transaction amount DV, the terminal accesses the financial institution system to make an electronic money issuing system issue the designated electronic money. Consequently, in the mobile communication terminal, the access frequency to the financial institution system can be reduced in compensation of the balance AV0 of the designated electronic money, and the purchase price of electronic money can be minimized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
