PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding glass for building materials and a metal fitting for building materials by a simple oven, a continuous heating furnace having no press mechanism, without using a large-sized autoclave furnace or a heating furnace with a press machine.;SOLUTION: The method for bonding glass for building materials and the metal fitting for building materials comprises the steps of: bringing a heat curable silicone rubber adhesive to be present between the glass and the metallic fitting; pressing the heat curable silicone rubber adhesive by giving 0.1-1.5MPa pressure at ordinary temperature to adhere the glass to the metal; and subsequently hardening the heat curable silicone rubber adhesive solely by heating without pressing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
