PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink excellent in curl and cockling prevention, having excellent ink preservability, excellent in ejecting property from a nozzle of an inkjet head and giving the ink head good scratch resistance; to provide a method for producing the water-based ink; to provide an inkjet printer mounted with the ink; and to provide an inkjet printing method using the ink.;SOLUTION: The water-based ink comprises water, a pigment, and a water-soluble organic solvent containing a water-soluble organic solvent of 16.5-24.6 (MPa)1/2 SP value, wherein, the content of the water-based organic solvent is 50-90 mass%; the content of the water-soluble organic solvent of 16.5-24.6 (MPa)1/2 SP value is ≥30 mass%, and the pigment is one obtained by mechanically kneading a mixture containing the pigment, water soluble inorganic salt of ≥3 mass times of the pigment and a high boiling point water-soluble organic solvent to atomize the pigment, washing and removing the water-soluble inorganic salt and applying the obtained pigment dispersing element to be contained in the ink.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
