PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment electrodeposition coating device having operation efficiency higher than that in the conventional one, and to provide a work conveying method in the pretreatment electrodeposition coating device for increasing the operation efficiency compared with that in the conventional one.;SOLUTION: The pretreatment electrodeposition coating device is equipped with a tact type conveying apparatus comprising: a conveyance rail extending from the start point to the end point in treatment tank arrangement at the upper part of a plurality of treatment tanks arranged in series; a pair of trolleys engaged with the conveyance rail at intervals each other in the extending direction of the carrier rail; a truck frame suspended from the trolleys; a pair of hoists fitted to the truck frame at intervals each other in the extending direction of the carrier rail; hanger frames suspended from the lower edges of the elevating chains of a pair of the hoists; hangers fitted to the hanger frames; and a controller of controlling the trolleys and hoists. The controller in the tact type conveying apparatus controls the hoists in such a manner that, between the start point and the end point in the treatment tank arrangement, the hanger frames moving in the respective treatment tanks and between the respective treatment tanks are always tilted to either the front or rear in the conveying direction at a prescribed angle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
