PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcement joint members dispensing with high-cost machining such as thread cutting and easily mountable to the mutually abutting part of diameter enlarged parts, and to provide a reinforcement connecting method.;SOLUTION: The reinforcement joint members 20, 30 for butt-connecting the diameter enlarged parts 12 of reinforcements 10 with the diameter enlarged parts are composed of semicylindrical parts 21, 31 with the shape of one of vertically bisected cylindrical parts surrounding the diameter enlarged parts 12 and reinforcement parts 11 connected thereto, and outward flanges 25, 35 projected to the outer peripheral side from the vicinity of two linear sides 24, 34 and formed with bolt insertion holes 26, 36.
