PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting the defect in block of furnace body in a blast furnace with which the defect developed in this block can suitably be detected until setting a plurality of blocks of furnace body in the blast furnace pre-produced at a position except the blast furnace foundation, onto the blast furnace foundation.;SOLUTION: The method for inspecting the defect in the block of furnace body in the blast furnace, is characterized in that the thickness of a joint between bricks in the brick layer, a strain developed in the above brick and the thickness of a stamping material layer, are measured one by one in the interval for shifting the block from the position except the blast furnace foundation to the blast furnace foundation, and the inspection is performed regarding whether the defect on the brick layer and the stamping material layer in the block is developed or not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
