PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the flow of a chemical foam resin which easily predicts the flowing state of the chemical foam resin in a metal mold. PSOLUTION: The method includes a first step of measuring the temporal change in the concentration of a reactant for generating the chemical foam resin by using a near-infrared spectrometer, a second step of calculating a reaction rate constant from the temporal changes in the concentration of the reactant, a third step of predicting a volume increase speed of the chemical foam resin, by using the reaction speed constant and a fourth step of predicting the flowing state of the chemical foam resin in the metal mold, by converting the volume increase speed into flow volume of the resin.
