PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood processing method capable of molding wood without cracking the same even in a case that a change in the shape of the wood before and after compression is large, a wood processing retaining mold and a wood processing apparatus.;SOLUTION: When compression force is applied to the wood to be processed, a region, on which compression force acts, of the wood is compressed while gradually widened from the central part of the wood to the peripheral edge part thereof.
