SCROLL TYPE EXPANDER AND RANKINE CYCLE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage and treat a working fluid and a lubricating oil to be circulated while maintaining efficiency in a scroll type expander and a Rankine cycle power generation system in which the expander is used.;SOLUTION: This scroll type expander 2 comprises a fixed scroll 51 in which spiral scroll laps 62, 72 are formed in the mirror planes (front sides) 61a, 71a of scroll base plates 61, 71 and a swing scroll 52. The swing scroll 52 is revolved around the axis of a drive shaft by the expansion of a gas phase working medium fed into an expansion chamber 40. A lubricating oil feed mechanism 59 feeding the lubricating oil to those sliding portions other than the expansion chamber 40 is installed on the rear surface of the swing scroll base plate 71 on the opposite side of the mirror plane 71a. The working medium inlet 11 of the fixed scroll 51 is communicated with a working medium feed part for feeding only the working medium and forms a liquid film for sealing and lubricating the sliding parts of the expansion chamber 40 by the liquid phase portion of the working medium fed into the expansion chamber 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
