PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying mechanism of a paper container for liquid and a liquid filling machine equipped with the mechanism which prevents a trouble causing the break or flaw at a carton corner or in its vicinity in a content filling process.;SOLUTION: In the carrying mechanism of the paper container, a carton 2 having a top opening 12 is transferred to a fixed position below three filling guides 20 with an L-shaped inner surface extending upward is moved upward in the right upward direction Q, and three corners 2a of the carton 2 are inserted along the inner surface. Side guide plates 21 are continuously formed at bottom ends of the two filling guides 20 located diagonally.
