PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a surface-treated aluminum material provided with an anodized coating having excellent thermal crack resistance, and to provide a surface-treated aluminum material provided with an anodized coating having excellent thermal crack resistance.;SOLUTION: The surface-treated aluminum material is obtained by subjecting an aluminum material 30 composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy to heat treatment at ≥300°C and thereafter forming an anodized coating on the surface of the aluminum material.
