PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaping method of a shaped article of three-dimensional knitted fabric, with which shaping is carried out without reducing thickness and compression recovery property in comparison with three-dimensional knitted fabric before shaping.;SOLUTION: A three-dimensional knitted fabric 10 is set between a top mold 21 and a bottom mold 22 in a nonpressurized state in which a shape forming part 12 is not pressurized by the top mold 21 and the bottom mold 22. Since the three-dimensional knitted fabric 10 of processing object is knitted, is heat-set and is provided as a flat raw fabric, the knitted fabric is heat-set and the ground fabric and a connection yarn are thermally deformed in a more pressurized state in the thickness direction than in knitting. Since the three-dimensional knitted fabric 10 is set and heated in a non-pressurized state between the top mold 21 and the bottom mold 22, the three-dimensional knitted fabric 10 receives heat, the residual stress of the ground fabric and the connection yarn is released between the top mold 21 and the bottom mold 22, the three-dimensional knitted fabric is deformed along the molds so that it is deformed in a state in knitting before heat-setting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
