PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for gathering water that is indispensable for greening a desert in the nighttime, and evaporating and condensing the water in the daytime, to thereby efficiently collect moisture in the air. PSOLUTION: In the implementation of the device for collecting moisture, a porous member 4 such as bamboo charcoal, wood charcoal, and activated charcoal is provided for adsorbing night dew in the nighttime. Then in the daytime, the porous member is covered with glass 2, plastic, vinyl sheets, or the like, and water adsorbed to the porous member is evaporated, to thereby gather and store the water by utilizing a temperature difference between a vapor contact surface and the atmosphere.
