PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a gas hydrate using natural snow as a raw material, which utilizes the characteristics of the crystal structures of the natural snow to enhance a gas hydrate-producing rate to improve production efficiency, can use a large amount of removed snow to lower a gas hydrate-producing cost, and enables the production of a reasonable amount of the gas hydrate after the passage of a prescribed time, even when not stirred, and to provide an apparatus for producing the same.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the gas hydrate from the natural snow as a raw material comprises putting the natural snow in a pressure-resistant container 2 and then injecting a prescribed guest gas to pressurize the snow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
