PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control damper allowing a moderate deformation to be caused in a seismic control material during earthquakes etc., and which dispenses with large-scale construction.;SOLUTION: This seismic control damper 10 is provided between a pair of shaft materials 21 and 22 which are joined together so as to form an angle with respect to each other. The damper 10 comprises: first and second arm materials 11 and 12, one-side ends of which are composed of mounting parts 11b and 12b, respectively, and which are composed of a rigid material provided in such a manner as to cross each other in a part separated from the mounting parts 11b and 12b; and the seismic control material 14 which is composed of a material with viscoelasticity, mounted and fixed on each of the arm materials 11 and 12 in the arm-material crossing parts of the arm materials 11 and 12 in such a manner as to be sandwiched between the arm materials 11 and 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
