PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing a heat pump water heater in particular, without carrying out complicated installation work or constructing a complicate configuration, such as providing an air supply and exhaust passage in a building structure, while preventing the performance of the heat pump water heater from deteriorating remarkably.;SOLUTION: A heat pump water heater 26 is installed in pipe space 22 where a water supply line, a drain line and the like for an apartment are arranged. Also, airflow that passes through the evaporator 13 of a refrigerant circuit provided in the heat pump water heater 26 is supplied from outside of the pipe space 22. After passing through the evaporator 13, the air is exhausted outside of the pipe space again. A configuration for the installation of an airflow circuit can be made up only of, e.g., the door of an MB (meter box) or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
