PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simplified minor test procedures which accurately can forecast engine performance of clutch pack and fluid without performing costly car test. PSOLUTION: This is the simulation method of split axle testing for vehicular limited-slip differential, which comprises a process to process the clutch bag for limited-slip differential in a lubricating composition during a first period at constant temperature, load the clutch pack on a rubbing tester, feed a certain amount of testing fluid to the tester, and then allow actuator of this tester to intermittently be circulated by predefined number of ON/OFF cycles, where specific number of revolutions will be produced between rubbing plate and metal plated in the clutch pack if the drive is ON.
