PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element optimum for use in production of a liquid crystal display element particularly by a dropping method because the sealing agent can be cured thoroughly even in a portion not directly irradiated with light in production of a liquid crystal display element, so that contamination of a liquid crystal due to dissolution of components of the sealing agent in the liquid crystal is not caused, whereby little color unevenness is ensured in liquid crystal display, and to provide a vertically conducting material and a liquid crystal display element.;SOLUTION: The sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method contains a curable compound having a cyclic ether group, a photo-cationic initiator and a thermal cationic initiator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
