PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning strike current display unit which is inexpensive and easy for mounting, and in which existence of passing of the lightning strike current can be distinguished easily, and no special maintenance is necessary after installment.;SOLUTION: An aperture 1 is installed on one end face of a plate body, a hollow part 2 for inserting discharge fittings is installed reaching inside from the aperture 1, a discharge part 3 for the lightning strike current consisting of a passage succeeding to the hollow part 2 for inserting the discharge fittings inside the plate body and reaching the other end face of the plate body is installed. One side face forming the discharge part 3 is covered with a rotating open-close door 4, the lightning strike current display unit A in which the door 4 is closed with a hook 5 is mounted on the tip of one of the discharge fittings installed opposed to the lightning discharge gap in the electric power circulation line by covering the hollow part 2 for inserting the discharge fittings of the lightning strike current display unit A. At the lightning occurrence of the electric power circulation line and when lightning discharge occurs in the lightning discharge gap, since the air in the discharge part 3 is expanded and the door 4 becomes open resisting the hook 5, passing of the lightning strike current through the lightning discharge gap is displayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
