PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a bass band at a sufficient level by securing duct length necessary for an acoustic characteristic even though the depth can not be sufficiently secured in a video display device provided with a thin type display part.;SOLUTION: A bass reflex type speaker system has a speaker box consisting of a front cabinet 1 and a rear cabinet 2, a speaker unit 3 attached in the speaker box, and a cylindrical bass reflex duct 4 for performing phase inversion of sound from the back of the speaker unit 3 to emit the sound to the front. The bass reflex duct 4 consists of two duct members (4a and 4b) divided into circular-arc shapes at a cross section and has one or a plurality of bent parts bent to an almost circular-arc shape and a straight part extending to both ends of the bent part, wherein the duct member 4b is molded fixedly to or integrally with an inner side of the rear cabinet 2.
