PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effects such as complete contact with a detected object surface, prevention of cutting, strong fixing force, and sufficient heat balance for a heat conduction structure of an electronic thermometer and a clinical thermometer using it. PSOLUTION: The heat conduction structure is disposed at a detection end 12 of the clinical thermometer 10, a recessed storage space 51 is disposed at the detection end, and a temperature sensor 30, a lead 40, and a lid-like metal contact section 60 are inserted into the storage space with a predetermined contact length. Thus, the contact section has a large contact area of temperature detection, has short exposing length, and can completely come into contact with the detected object surface, and has the effects such as complete contact with the detected object surface, prevention of cutting, strong fixing force, and sufficient heat balance, and the clinical thermometer using the heat conduction structure allows the detection end of the clinical thermometer to be bent at a predetermined angle. Alternatively, a temperature detection heat transfer effect of complete contact is obtained by disposing the contact section at any one end of the detection ends.
