PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Braille translation device enabling even a user who is not familiar with Braille to easily and quickly input Braille information, and to provide a Braille translation method, and a computer readable recording medium with the program recorded thereon. PSOLUTION: The Braille translation device comprises: a Braille-character correspondence dictionary storage section 108 for making each of a plurality of Braille data correspond to character data in advance and storing them; a coordinate information input section 101 for a user to input time-series coordinate information; a point position judging section 105 for judging, based on the coordinate information inputted in the coordinate information input section 101, the point position of Braille; a Braille judging section 109 for judging, based on the point position information judged by the point position judging section 105 and on the content stored in the Braille-character correspondence dictionary storage section 108, the character corresponding to the point position information; and a display section 102 for displaying character information judged by the Braille judging section 109.
