PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive photograph transaction system allowing an orderer to designate a digital photograph matching a condition.;SOLUTION: This digital album device having a function for selecting a photograph provider matching a condition by an input retrieval condition is characterized by including: a process provided with a processing means for calculating a concordance rate with the retrieval condition for each photograph to calculate concordance with the retrieval condition; and a control means having a means for communicating with a relevant photograph provider depending on the retrieval result for communicating with the provider of the photograph according to the calculated concordance rate. In the digital album device and its photograph retrieval method, the photograph retrieval method is used to improve accuracy for retrieving a photograph by calculating coincidence of an input condition of an arbitrary photograph with stored photograph providers and thereby detecting a plurality of photograph providers close to the condition even if it the condition of the arbitrary photograph does not match them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
