PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easiness in operation and excellence in usability while keeping an authentication function with high security in an automatic transaction device. PSOLUTION: The device comprises a card unit for reading information stored in a card; an inputting unit for inputting a password and transaction information; a display unit with a display screen; a biometrics information reading unit for reading biometrics information; and a control unit for integrally controlling these units. The control unit controls the units so as to display in order of a display screen to input the password, a display screen to input the transaction information, and a display screen to approve transactions, and also controls the units so as to approve the transactions by biometrics authentication on the basis of the display screen to approve the transactions.
