A wave shape of secondary voltage signal of an ignition coil 31 or 32 during electrical discharge is detected by a detection coil 51 or 52 and monitored by an inspection unit 53. And a cylinder in a compression stroke is distinguished before electric discharge by the inspection unit 53.
