PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a pseudo noise generator cannot generate periodic pseudo noise although a number of electromagnetic interference waves are periodic noise.;SOLUTION: A pseudo noise generator is provided with a distributing memory for storing a plurality of pulse duration distributions and pulse width distributions, and an amplitude/crossover value random number generator A and a periodic pulse random number generator D for reading contents of a plurality of memories in a predetermined periodic order and generating random numbers conforming to the pulse duration distribution and the pulse width distribution which are read, thereby generating periodic pulse random numbers. In this way, amplitude probability distribution, crossover value distribution, the pulse duration distribution and the pulse width distribution are simultaneously designated, and the evaluation of the interference resistance of an electronic device against periodic noise can be satisfactorily performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
