METHOD FOR COLLECTING BONE MARROW COMPONENT OF BOVINE BONE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which a large amount of a bone marrow component effective for improving health from bovine bone can efficiently be collected in high purity. PSOLUTION: The method for collecting the bone marrow component of the bovine bone is characterized as follows. Both ends of a diaphysis of the bovine bone are cut and removed so as to expose lumen openings in each end face and the diaphysis is then housed in a centrifugal separator and subjected to low-speed rotation at 60C temperature. Thereby, melted bone marrow is taken out of the diaphysis. Nerve fibers, etc., present in the bone marrow are removed by filtration to afford the objective bone marrow component.
