PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a sliced veneer whose cut end face is exposed on a surface in which the sliced veneer as a fruit article does not crack regardless of thickness and which can perfectly keep the naturalness of annual rings and the naturalness of colors of an original woody block and the sliced veneer manufactured by the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the sliced veneer whose cut end face is exposed on the surface, wood blocks in which the regular grain face or the flat grain face is upwardly directed are adhered to the periphery of a wood block in which the cut end face is upwardly directed without gaps and integrated by pressing and fastening the whole from the surrounding and sliced in a horizontal direction to obtain the sliced veneer whose cut end face is exposed on the surface.
