PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold-gilt bathtub by which a gold foil peeling phenomenon can be prevented by forming a layer on gold foil by adhering gold foil pieces coated with a vinyl coating to the inside of a bathtub body and further forming a coating layer of a resin material on the external surface of the layer on gold foil and high quality of the product and consumer tastes can be satisfied by high quality and functions of gold. PSOLUTION: The gold-gilt bathtub with a gold foil ground is provided with a bathtub body, a gold foil ground layer formed by adhering the gold foil pieces whose tops are coated with vinyl by hot-melt coating to the inside of the bathtub body by an adhesive agent and the surface coating layer which is formed by applying the resin material to the outer surface of the gold foil ground layer.
