PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of times of inverting the potential of a node on a route for distributing a data signal to respective data lines in a liquid crystal display adopting both of time-division drive and dot inversion drive.;SOLUTION: The method for driving the liquid crystal display is provided with a step (A) for driving pixels in a certain lines of an LCD panel 1 by time division drive so that adjacent pixels 13 are driven by respectively inverted polarity signals. The step (A) is provided with a step (A1) for generating a first data signal having the first polarity on an output terminal Source1 of a driving means and electrically connecting the output terminal Source1 to a first pixel out of the pixels 13 in the certain line to drive the first pixel and a step (A2) for generating a second data signal on a first output terminal (Source2) continuously to the drive of the first pixel and electrically connecting the output terminal Source1 to the second pixel out of the pixels 13 in the certain line to drive the second pixel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
