MICRO-MIXER, STIRRING METHOD FOR FLUID AND MIXING METHOD FOR FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly stir and mix a fluid flowing in a micro-flowing passage having the corresponding diameter of a cross section of 1,000 micro-meter or shorter by a simple constitution.;SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes 24a, 24b formed such that a gap becomes a wave line shape is arranged on a bottom part of a mixing flow passage 22 such that it is made eccentric relative to a stream center of the fluid flowing in the mixing flow passage 22 and an AC voltage is applied to the electrodes 24a, 24b. Since a convection current phenomenon action is generated on the fluid by an alternating current electro-osmosis on the electrodes 24a, 24b, the fluid in the mixing flow passage 22 can be quickly stirred and mixed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
