PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and simply measure an MTF(modulation transfer function) of a lenticular lens for highly fine images. ;SOLUTION: A fringe pattern 60 is arranged separate from a light source 12 and close to a lenticular lens 64. A transmission light from the light source is picked up by an image pickup means 16 to measure an MTF. When a pitch of fringes of the fringe pattern is a line pitch, the fringe pattern is formed to shift with a predetermined shorter pitch than the line pitch in a breadthwise direction for every predetermined pitch in a longitudinal direction of each fringe. The image pickup means 16 is preferably moved in a direction orthogonal to the breadthwise direction (Z-axis direction) to pick up images at every movement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
