MRP3 EXPRESSION PROMOTING AGENT AND USE THEREOF

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxication method by promoting the expression of MRP3, a method for promoting the discharge of glucuronic acid conjugate and non-conjugated organic anionic compound, a method for promoting the discharge of compounds, and medicines, foods and functional foods for the method. PSOLUTION: The expression of MRP3 in a living tissue can be promoted by preparing a medicine, food or functional food containing DHA as an active component and administering the product to human or non-human vertebrates. MRP3 is expressed at the blood vessel side of hepatocyte to discharge xenobiotic substances in the hepatocyte into the blood and, accordingly, the medicine, food or functional food containing MRP3 can be used for a detoxication method to detoxicate foreign materials in the body, and a compound discharge promotion method comprising a method for promoting the discharge of glucuronic acid conjugate and non-conjugated organic anionic compound.
