PUMP STATION SYSTEM AND SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD FOR COMBINED SEWER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump station system which can separate and treat initial refuse such as scum, garbage, etc., flowing together with sewage, and can prevent the initial refuse from being discharged into a downstream discharge area.;SOLUTION: The pump station system 1 is equipped with a water suction tank 10 for collecting the sewage in which wastewater and rainwater merge together, and a water discharge tank 22 in which the sewage in the water suction tank 10 pumped up by using a lifting pump 16 is stored to be discharged into downstream discharge equipment. The system 1 is also equipped with a separation tank 28 in which the sewage containing sediment and refuse and pumped up at the initial stage of the operation of the lifting pump 16 is stored in a state of being separated from the sewage in the discharge tank 22. A communication section 32 makes the discharge tank 22 and the separation tank 28 communicate with each other in a position lower than the floor surface F of the discharge equipment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
