PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the surface appearance and impregnation properties of a unidirectional reinforced thermoplastic resin structure. SOLUTION: A reinforcing fiber bundle 5 is introduced into an impregnation tank 1 in which a molten thermoplastic resin is stored and then is soaked in the molten thermoplastic resin. In addition, the reinforcing fiber bundle 5 is run through an intratank nozzle 8 provided in the impregnation tank 1 and an outlet nozzle 10 provided on the downstream border wall of the impregnation tank 1 to obtain the unidirectional reinforced thermoplastic resin structure impregnated with the molten thermoplastic resin.
