CONCRETE STRUCTURE OF IRRIGATION/DRAINAGE CHANNEL, AND METHOD OF REPAIRING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete structure of an irrigation/drainage channel, which has been put into service, undergoes degradation or damage, has repaired at least a surface thereof, that makes contact with water, at low cost to extend the service life thereof, and is free from a risk of elution of lead that is a target of water quality regulations for preventing environmental contamination, from the surface of the irrigation/drainage channel, and to provide a method of repairing the concrete structure.;SOLUTION: The concrete structure of the irrigation/drainage channel has the surface thereof repaired by spraying a base compound that contains an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer, and a hardener that contains an active hydrogen-containing compound and a non-lead catalyst, preferably a hardener that contains an organic acid bismuth salt catalyst, to the surface of the concrete structure by a spray to form a coat. The method of repairing the concrete structure of the irrigation/drainage channel is implemented by forming the coat on the surface of the concrete structure of the irrigation/drainage channel, that has undergone degradation or damage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
