PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the disorderly transfer of ink, the formation of an air pocket and low-grade printing by providing an openable valve head end of which the outer surface shape is planned so as to seal an ink filling hole to the end part of a male valve similar to a hollow needle having an orifice receiving ink from an ink reservoir. ;SOLUTION: An ink refilling apparatus 80 is equipped with an ink reservoir 82 housing ink communicating with the hole 90 formed to a male valve 86. A rubber sleeve 88 is fixed to the upper part of the hole 9 formed to the valve 86 extending into a center hole 84 by friction force. A valve head end 92 is connected to the male valve 86 by a male screw 94 engaged with the female screw of the valve head end 92. The pref. length of the male valve 86 is an order of 25.4mm and the outer diameter thereof must be made slightly larger than the diameter of the filling hole and is about 4.57mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
