PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit error occurrence in measured results, when the corresponding time difference is measured of the two pulse signals generated with a predetermined time difference in a time difference measuring device, even if difference arises between the two reference signals used for this time difference measurement.;SOLUTION: In the time difference measuring device measuring time difference between the start signal M1 and the stop signal M2, when two reference signals S1, S2 with a phase difference of π/2 are generated at a reference signal generating section 41, corresponding amplitudes A11, A12 and A21, A22 of both reference signals S1, S2 at each generating timing of the start signal M1 and the stop signal M2 are detected at an amplitude detecting section 42, and a phase θ of the reference signal S based on the pairs of each amplitude (A11, A12) and (A21, A22) is calculated at a phase difference detecting section 43, the calculated phase is corrected at a correcting section 46 using the correction data correcting errors of the reference signals S1, S2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
