PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a technology for the fault protection of a call server.;SOLUTION: The system and the technology for the fault protection of a call server obstacle are materialized by assigning a set of media gateway to respective three or more call servers. Each call server has a primary control of the set of media gateway to which correspondence is assigned. A second call server is specified as a server having a secondary control of the first media gateway assigned to the first one of the call servers. A third call server is specified as a server having the secondary control of the second media gateway assigned to the first call server.
