PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily understand/evaluate and to easily prepare/edit the contents of a teaching material, and to enable a teaching material provider to accurately charge.;SOLUTION: A server 1 finely classifies/manages the contents (materials such as moving pictures, texts) of the teaching material in a hierarchical structure (chapters, paragraphs, etc.). When receiving a request from a user (such as a teacher terminal 2), the server presents the contents of the teaching material in accordance with the hierarchical structure and allows the user to select/purchase a desired material. At this time, by using a customer charging TBL 70 and a material evaluation table 80, the server presents the user's material selecting route in the past and evaluation information (recommendation degree) of each material. The purchased material is transferred to a customer area 1a, where preparation/editing of each user's original teaching material is carried out. The user is charged according to the number of licenses registered along with the purchase of materials (charging information 1b) and, by checking the actual number of access times from a student terminal 4 to the original teaching material, the user is additionally charged if the number of access times exceeds the number of licenses.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
