PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimal retrieval result satisfying the retrieval conditions of a retriever and a person to be retrieved in a retrieval system on a network for enabling users to communicate with each other.;SOLUTION: A server 13 which has received retrieval conditions refers to a retrieval history database 15 when performing retrieval, and collates whether or not a retriever is matched with the retrieval conditions designated in the past by a person to be retrieved, and ranks the retrieval results based on the level of matching, and outputs the retrieval results in the order of those ranks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
