PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup restoration system, a backup restoration method, a backup system, a backup method, a restoration system and a restoration method for enabling a user to easily back-up/restore his or her own personal information without being browsed by a manager. PSOLUTION: The setting information of a user and the address of a restoration destination device are encrypted and transmitted from a backup origin device to a user terminal and the setting information is backed up by a user terminal. Then, the setting information backed up by the user terminal is transmitted to the restoration destination device, and restoration is performed based on the setting information received from the user terminal by the restoration destination device.
