PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic bulletin board system capable of narrowing the directivity of speech in accordance with a category of a subject such as a discussion and a question and capable of efficiently performing an output corresponding to the integration of a conclusion based on the contents of the speech or the subject.;SOLUTION: In the case of preparing a thread by presenting a new subject, a category to be applied to the thread is specified. In the case of displaying the thread, the thread is displayed in accordance with a form corresponding to the specified category. By previously specifying the category corresponding to the subject to be presented, the divergence of speech contents to be performed about the thread can be previously suppressed and the directivity of the speech can be narrowed.
