PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing a crosslinking silicone rubber improved in mechanical performance by adding an obtained object decomposed as compared with a product comprising 10% of unused raw materials. SOLUTION: The crosslinking silicone rubber decomposition method is performed under pressure by using a mixed solvent of water and alcohol. The method is performed so that a relationship between a decomposition temperature T( deg.C) and a decomposing time t (minute) satisfies the following formula (i). 31049 T-20.086 =t=1040 T-15.976 (where T is from 240 to 260 deg.C).
