PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carboneous adsorbent which can easily eliminate an environmental pollutant without activating the environmental pollutant, to provide a method of manufacturing the carboneous adsorbent and to provide a clarification method using the carboneous adsorbent.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of carboneous adsorbent, a carbon compound such as coal is gasified in a gasification furnace, thereafter, generation gas is supplied to a dedusting process and unburned carbon (char) is collected, wherein the gasification furnace has at least two temperature regions each of which is provided with an inlet for the carbon compound and has a temperature different from each other, the temperature of at least one temperature region among the regions is the fusion temperature or more of ash existing in the carbon compound, the temperatures of the remaining temperature regions are less than the fusion temperature of ash, then, the carbon compound is introduced from each inlet into each temperature region together with a gasification agent, thereby, the gasification is performed and, before the temperature of the generation gas becomes less than 450°C, the generation gas is supplied to the dedusting process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
