PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a handrail fixing mechanism on a wall, according to which cloth can be stuck to the wall without using a cutter, completely eliminates bothersome cloth cutting, facilitates so-called retrofitting of a handrail without cutting the cloth B, and achieves quick mounting of the handrail with good finishing.;SOLUTION: According to the method, a base stand of the hand rail is directly mounted on the wall A by screws D, and the cloth B is stuck to the wall in a manner covering the base stand. Then by checking the locations of bumps or dips of the base stand from above the cloth B stuck to the wall A, the location of the base stand hidden by the stuck cloth B is confirmed from above the cloth B stuck to the wall A.
