PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device capable of discharging a bundle of paper sheets certainly without deflecting (curving) even though the sheet bundle is not stiff.;SOLUTION: The sheet bundle discharge part 12 of this sheet post-treatment device has a pawl 12a which is furnished at its underbelly part with a supporting member 12e to be engaged with the pawl 12a for supporting the lower part of the sheet bundle and arranged rotatably. The supporting member 12e maintains its condition approximately parallel with the sheet stacking surface of a bottom plate 8 when no bundle is pushed out by the pawl 12a and rotates upward when its other end has touched the bundle stacked on an exhaust tray 6 during the pushout operation of the bundle by the pawl 12a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
