PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform conveyance with an intermediate split link set along an intermediate split jib so as to facilitate handling of the intermediate split link by connecting the tip part of the intermediate split link to the tip side upper part of the intermediate split jib via a short length link before the intermediate split jib is assembled. ;SOLUTION: As a tension member 44 for supporting a luffing jib, a plurality of rod type split links 45A, 45, 45B are connected sequently by means of pins. A short length link 46 is connected to the tip side upper part of an intermediate split jib 42 in a luffing jib 4 so that the short length link 46 can be freely moved in the longitudinal direction and in the vertical direction of the intermediate split jib 42. On the other hand, the tip part 45b of the intermediate split link 45 is connected to the short length link 46 freely movably by means of a pin 48 before assembly of the intermediate split jib 42 is carried out, so that handling of the intermediate split link 45 in conveyance can be facilitated and luffing jib assembling work can be carried out with ease.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
